About EXPED –
The EXPED story began with the personal outdoor experiences of Heidi and Andi Brun. In 1981, the Swiss adventurers lived in the northern Canadian wilderness for nine months, spending the long winter in a log cabin built with their own hands. Improvising in their everyday life with minimal resources, and the freedom this approach allowed, inspired them to get involved in the development of functional outdoor gear.
