What is the cause of the Bodija Tuesday Blast? This and more questions will find answers as search and investigation is ongoing, amidst relief announcement to victims by both the state governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde and President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Residents have continued to share their experiences. Some of them have called on the state government to provide adequate support in the areas of feeding, accommation, psychological support and rehabilitation to assist victims of the incident.



The Commissioner for Health in Oyo state, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetumobi insists 77 were injured with 5 deaths, and some dismembered bodies found.


The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has called for calmness and co-operation. He pledged to give adequate sheltering and sort the medical bills of the victims of the blast victims.


Residents said sanctioning and early detection will prevent such incident in future.
