The first step to removing a toilet is to turn off the water.

Then flush the toilet and hold the lever until most of the water is removed from the tank.

Sponge the remaining water from the tank into the bowl.

This next step is my secret sauce: pour one packet of LiquiLock into the bowl. This turns the water into a gel. Wait 4-5 minutes.

One packet of LiquiLock costs about $3. It's well worth it.

Remove the caps to the closet flange bolts and loosen the closet flange nuts. If you have trouble with this step, cut the bolt just under the nut.

Use either a multi tool or mini hacksaw for this.

The last step is to undo the water supply line
