A scenic drive to 3 beautiful hikes. Today's adventure on the West-CO Exploration channel takes us to the Miracle Rock Recreation Site a few miles south of Glade Park, CO. On this video we will explore the area below Miracle Rock Plateau, the Little Dolores River and a couple small waterfalls and the grand prize, Miracle Rock AKA Potato Rock. This is a 24,000,000 lb 90ft tall monolith precariously balanced on a base that is 4-11" wide. We will also use the drone to discover one of the best hidden treasures in the area.

I’m John and I’m the host of West-Co Exploration. This is a YouTube channel dedicated to outdoor activities and adventures. Not just off-roading and camping but also hiking, day-tripping, over-landing, sightseeing, shooting, boating, fishing and enjoyment of God’s amazing creation.
A lot of our content will be focused on day trips available on the Western Slope of Colorado and Eastern Utah. Since our home base is just outside of Grand Junction Co, many of these trips will take place within a few miles to several hours of this location. Of course our extended over-landing adventures will venture further and cover much more extended areas. That being said, I love to take my camera and drone with me and who knows what exciting locales we will present in the future.
