Welcome to Criminal Justice Organization and Administration, which serves to define and analyze criminal justice organizations, which includes human resources planning and management, research studies, environmental factors, centralized authority, and other functions.
One important function within any criminal justice operation rests with that organization’s effort toward communicating with citizens and accepting public critique. This is accomplished through the creation of Criminal Justice Advisory Boards that arise from the creation of a multi-disciplinary board composed of criminal justice professionals as well as prominent members of the community, which serves as guidance toward more efficient operations designed to meet community needs.

Of course, one of the primary goals of this course is to provide you, as a student, with a brief overview of the evolution of our criminal justice system to match the needs of an ever-changing community. You will find that I will serve as your guide toward relating course materials to true-world scenarios applicable to law enforcement today.
