Through Help Animals India's support, Kalimpong Animal Shelter (KAS) is making remarkable progress in their Animal Birth Control program. Since mid-August 2024, 109 street dogs have been sterilized, with a target of 200 by February 2025.

This vital work in Kalimpong's Bloc I involves:
-Early morning rescue operations
-Collaboration with local dog feeders
-Post-operative care and monitoring
-Community education about ABC benefits

Despite challenges like caring for nursing mothers and working with fearful dogs, KAS's dedicated team perseveres. Their work goes beyond surgery - they're building trust with communities and creating lasting change.
