The speaker discusses the sonographic role in evaluating the parotid, submandibular and sublingual glands.

Upon completion of this educational activity the participant should be able to list the indications for ultrasound of the salivary glands, describe normal anatomy, describe the ultrasound appearance of inflammation and tumors, and appreciate the role of new technologies, such as elastography and CEUS, in evaluating the salivary glands.
