New Dark Oxygen Discovery May Disturb You | Peter Schroedl

A new study reveals unexpected "dark oxygen" production at the abyssal seafloor, where oxygen levels tripled over two days near polymetallic nodules in the Pacific Ocean. Researchers suggest that seawater electrolysis, driven by high voltage potentials on nodule surfaces, may be responsible for this unusual oxygen increase.
