Grundig Yacht Boy 1100 Restoration

I spotted this old Grundig Yacht Boy 1100 for sale on e-bay "For parts / Not working" so thought it would make a nice video if I could get it working. Turns out it was working but the usual thing with old radios, the controls and switches needed cleaning.

The slider controls appear to be a Grundig own design as I've never seen these type used elsewhere. Dismantling and repairing them fixed the main problem of lack of sound output. Cleaning the push switch array fixed the intermittent operation and with a little glue, the cabinet mount was repaired.

Cleaned and tested it works well and looks good as part of my little museum.
