In new club news, there are quite a few new clubs to shoutout:

In Georgia, Pooler GAA:   / pooler-gaa-112020534749846  

In South Carolina, Columbia Hurling Club, which was started by a member of The Citadel's college club:   / col_umbiahurlingclub  

In Canada, the Toronto Chieftains GAA have recently expanded into hurling focused on youth:   / torontochieftains

00:37 | US College (NCGAA) Hurling Finals
In college news, the NCGAA Nationals were held in Orlando on April 9th. Nine college teams from across the US competed in this one day championship.

Congrats to the University of Pittsburgh who are undefeated NCGAA hurling champions since 2019!

00:51 | April Hurling & Camogie Tournaments
There were 4 big tournaments in April:

In Georgia, the Atlanta Camogie Invitational tournament was held on April 2nd. Camogie teams from Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York were invited to compete. Congrats to New York’s Liberty Gaels who won the camogie tournament!

In Tennessee, Nashville’s Music City Invitational also took place on April 2nd. A combined team of Atlanta/Twin Cities won the 2022 MCI with a final score of St Louis: 3-06 to ATL/TC 4-06

In Montana, the McEneaney Cup was held in Missoula on April 30th. Thomas Meagher Hurling Club hosted teams from across the Northwest.

Also on April 30th, the New Hampshire Wolves GAA hosted 4 teams from the Northeast for a 7s Tournament.

In Youth Hurling news, Rockland GAA under 7s did a hurling demo at halftime of the Sligo vs New York match at Gaelic Park in the Bronx.

April’s Photos of the Month has to go to William Wayland of San Francisco GAA for these incredible action shots of the start of the San Francisco GAA season between Tipperary SF and Na Fianna.

April’s Videos of the Month goes to the Denver Gaels Youth who have been doing an excellent job at getting American children playing hurling.

02:11 | Club of the Month
April’s club of the month goes to the Charleston Hurling Club. Thank you so much to Brian and Andrew from the Charleston Hurling Club for taking over our social media accounts and giving us an inside look at the Holy City Cup.
