In this video I add some more information about how to remove money from a copy trade without actually closing the copy position. When you remove funds from a person you're copying, you can only remove funds which aren't being used in active trades by the person you're copying. This method uses the 'Pause Copy' feature to slowly let the amount of funds you can withdraw from a copy position build up, so you can withdraw them to your available balance and then do whatever you want with them.

Pausing the copy means that whilst you are still copying the trader with all of the trades they have made so far for you, new trades that they make won't be copied... The result of this is that as they gradually close older trades and open new ones, (they have to close older trades in order to open new ones as they don't have an unlimited supply of money) the amount of money you have copying them which isn't involved in active trades starts to build up and becomes available to be withdrawn by you into your available balance.

It's not as fast as just closing the trades manually, but it is safer as it means you're still getting the benefit of their experience concerning the best possible price and time to close the trades that you already have open with them.
