The VC-100UHD, is Roland's next-generation A/V signal management solution for live events, fixed installations, and live streaming. Combining multiple single-task technologies with Roland's 4K Ultra Scaler, the VC-100UHD supports simultaneous scaling and conversion across 12G SDI & HDMI 2.0 connectivity standards and to multiple destinations including 4K LED walls, HD recorders, USB live streams, and more.

Roland's revolutionary Ultra Scaler is the VC-100UHD's backbone. With 10-bit 4:4:4, Rec 2020, High Dynamic Range (HDR-10) HD High Frame Rate (HFR) up to 240 Hz and native DCI 4K cinema resolution, Ultra Scaler delivers premium quality conversion without compromise.
Send 4K and 1080p video to multiple destinations at one time, including pixel-hungry LED wall processors, HD tech displays and recorders, plus USB webcam streams for online viewing.

Ideal for esports, the VC-100 can support the high frame rates of 144Hz needed for esports and gaming, giving gamers a competitive edge and the broadcast production a signal they can use.

Rotate, flip, and mirror images using the VC-100UHD's built-in visual effects processor. A portrait image generated by a smartphone can be trimmed and rotated to fit seamlessly on a 16:9 landscape display for digital signage.

Reach a worldwide audience and broadcast uncompressed 1080p/60 to live streaming platforms with the USB 3.0 "webcam" output or record to a web-ready full HD A/V file, using Roland's free VR Capture software for Mac (Pro Res 422), and Windows (.MP4).

VC-100UHD can process incoming embedded digital audio on 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs. Analog I/O is also provided via a balanced sound on a 25-pin D-sub connector. The advanced audio patching system routes and embeds/de-embeds up to 16 input channels with output up to eight channels. Audio delay is also available on each audio output.

The VC-100UHD works excellent as a portable processor for grab-and-go productions or installed in a rack (with the included rack kit) for use in larger systems and fixed installations. It also comes equipped with rich integration capabilities, including custom EDID on HDMI, 24 video test patterns (including animated patterns) and an audio test tone generator, support for backing up, and recalling system settings on the job via USB memory and remote control support over LAN or USB.
