Questo video del 1989 fa capire che qualcuno stava per cambiare la storia del death metal senza probabilmente rendersene conto. Qui Sean aveva 18 anni e stava registrando il primo demo dei Cynic... una cosa mostruosa! Ci sono già delle idee ed un modo di suonare mixato tra metal old school e fusion: doppia cassa, rudimenti applicati sul set, accenti spostati... stiamo veramente parlando di un fuoriclasse che successivamente avrebbe cambiato il. mondo con il suo drumming per i death e cynic.
