In this video I'm going to show you how to correctly declare your investment income from ETFs and other Managed Funds in your Australian Income Tax Return on MyGov linked to your ATO account.

In my this video I will use an example of tax distributions received from VAS, also known as the Vanguard Australian Shares ETF, being uploaded in the Managed Trust Distributions section of a Tax returns being prepared on a MyTax worksheet inside MyGov. There is no need to wait for the Prefill information to be populated in your Tax Return in order to lodge your tax return once you receive your Tax Summary from your ETF Manager by email.
