Megamalai is one of the best places I have ever seen. This place is located in Theni District. One hour Travel from Theni. Nearest Airport is Madurai(125 Kms - 4.50 hours). Comparing to Ooty and Kodaikanal, Sight seeing places are quite less . But We can Enjoy the climate much. Since this place is not famous much, Crowds are quite less compared to ooty and kodaikanal. Roads to Megamalai hills are so good and well maintained. I would suggest this place as best place for one day trip.
