The Cape Legends & Artisan Spirits Challenge is an annual competition where hotels in South Africa nominate candidate Wine stewards and young chefs to show off their skills.
Each hotel is paired with one of the Cape Legends / Distell Wine and Spirit brands and on Friday 26th May, all the candidates visited the brands which their hotel had been matched with.

The hotels were CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre), Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, Tsogo Sun - Elangeni, and the Protea Balalaika in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Mzamo is from the Elangeni Hotel in Durban (Tsogo Sun & Southern Sun) and talks about his experiences thus far.
