Mashid Mahabat Khan is situated in Peshawar city (one of the oldest city of Pakistan) and build in 17th century in the era of Emperor Shahjehan and Aurangzeb. It is named after Nawab Mahabat Khan who was the Mughal governor of Peshawar. It is learnt that he served the mughal emperor Shahjehan.
This mosque was built during 1660 to 1670.
