The road to neurosurgery is long: 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, and 7 years of residency. In this episode, we’re going to travel back in time to the start of the journey: high school. Did we even know that we wanted to pursue medicine? How and when did we start on this path? How did we deal with the stresses of school, SATs/ACTs, sports, extracurriculars, and, of course, college applications? And then when we got to college, how did we foster an interest in medicine and neurosurgery?
