From Season 18 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 10: Mountain Born which originally aired on January 9th, 1972. Jason is an 11-year-old who lives with his widowed mother on an isolated sheep ranch high in the Colorado mountains. He hopes to someday be like his idol, Benj, the ranch foreman. Benj gives the boy the job of watching over a young lamb after Jason saves the animal from dying. This affords Jason his first real responsibility, and Benj helps him learn the ways of a shepherd. Starring Sam Austin as Jason, Walter Stroud as Benj and Jolene Terry as Martha.
