In this video, blacksmith Walter Sorrells shows the making of a knife with a wooden inlaid handle made using an Atezr P20 Plus 20 Watt laser engraver. Walter shows a number of techniques showcasing the ways that laser cutting/engraving machines can be used in the craft of knife making. The video shows engraving, as well as an inlay technique using hard maple and walnut wood. Laser engravers are not only great for knife making, but for other crafts like woodworking, jewelry making, metalworking, etc.
