This is just an excerpt from a video I'll post this Saturday at 4.30 pm, where I am playing the second movement, Largo, of the Lute Concerto in D major, RV 93, one of four works featuring the solo lute, 2 violins, and basso continuo, written by Antonio Vivaldi.
An ecstatic and contemplative piece, which I love, because it almost seems to have the ability to suspend time.
Further confirmation of how just a few - right - notes are enough to create a masterpiece capable of arousing deep emotions!
In addition to the lute this Concerto is also usually played on guitar or mandolin.
