This week’s article of the week is titled 'the benefits of hydrotherapy to patients with spinal cord injuries.'

The article is a literature review which looks at and discusses, the advantages of patients with spinal cord injuries participating in hydrotherapy as an alternative form of exercise. In particular, this article addresses underwater gait kinematics, spasticity and thermoregulatory and cardiovascular responses. As many patients with spinal cord injuries lead a sedentary lifestyle, participating in water-based exercise could be an alternative form of exercise to help improve quality of life and medical challenges.
