New York's EMPIRE STATE BUILDING: Is it WORTH GOING to the TOP?

Going to the top of the Empire State building is a must for every tourist!

I am a true New Yorker. Since I am showing Noochi around NYC. I got us CityPASS booklets to use to use for access to the major attractions. It saves you money. Included in the booklet is an entry to the observatory at the top of the Empire State Building -- once the tallest building in the world.

As a New Yorker, we huff at the thought of doing these tourist things, but I truly loved the experience.

The views were incredible, and I enjoyed spotting the various sights, such as Chelsea, Soho, Tribeca, Harlem, Central Park, Coney Island, the Woolworth building, Brooklyn, Queens, Macy's and Times Square.

The pictures we took at the top are some of the best from the trip here. And they let you come back at night for to get those night time shots for free.

The Empire State Building observation deck is open everyday from 8am to 2am. Rain or shine.
