Commuter Cyclist Clothing Part 2 Winter Cold Snow BikeBlogger

Описание к видео Commuter Cyclist Clothing Part 2 Winter Cold Snow BikeBlogger

When the cold winter wind hits your face you better be ready. Below is what I wear while winter cycling in the cold through snow and ice.

Balaclava - covers top of the head, ears, neck and face

Gloves - two pairs, breathable thin gloves inside of insulated wind blocking big gloves

Socks - two pairs, breathable socks inside of insulated water blocking big socks

Underwear - two pairs, long insulating type

Pants - long water resistant wind blocking type

Shoes - summer cycling shoes with toe covers

Coat - breathable water resistant wind blocking jacket

Shirt - multiple layers as needed

Glasses - as always, to protect eyes

My winter bike is equipped with studded tires (ice), fenders (water), and disc brakes (reliable).

Note: At one point I had a brain freeze and said 6 feet of snow in the street when I meant to say half a foot of snow (6 inches). If there is that much snow on an unplowed road not only will it be very difficult to ride your bike but even driving a car in those conditions is hard.

To see what I was wearing last fall (autumn) watch the below video. :)
