For this young mother living in Glendale, CA, seeing an image of a two-year-old boy who had drowned brought the whole Syrian refugee crisis into full focus. A child immigrant to the U.S. herself (from Spain), she felt compelled to act. Never in her wildest dreams however, could she have imagined that one year later she would be the founder of a full-fledged non-profit - Carry The Future; an organization that, by gathering donations from around the world and sending small groups of devoted mothers on distribution trips, has delivered, and personally fit, over 13,000 baby carriers to Syrian refugees traveling through Greece.
