"Uncle Joes Mint balls" were a Lancashire folk music and comedy group from Wigan. They performed throughout the North West of England with their unique sound and comedy. The group was formed in the 1970s when a very wet school camping holiday required some musical entertainment.
"Pieland" is the title song of their fourth album about Wiganers beloved Haigh Hall being transformed into a theme park.
