Water-friendly options available as lei season approaches

Lei Day offers chances to plant water-friendly flowering plants. You may already be planning for all the leiʻs you will need in May for May Day, Mother's Day, and graduation season. Sheri Mikami, community relations specialist from the Board of Water Supply, joined Take2 Thursday morning with some tips on xeric plants from your garden used for lei making that also help you decrease your outdoor water use by 30% or more.
