Post and Beam Builder with 30 Years Experience - Interviewed

http://www.postbeam.com.au David Mollet interviews David Baetge, the principal of PostBeam.com.au. David has been building custom post and beam kit homes for more than 30 years. While working in the corporate environment, David built his own mud brick post and beam home. The experience captivated him and changed his life. He resigned from his corporate job and began designing and building post and beam homes.

David is a registered Energy Assessor with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Victoria. He is a Corporate Member of the Earth Building Association of Australia (EBAA) and has been the Executive Officer of this organisation. He has represented EBAA on committees involved in designing earth building standards for Australia and New Zealand and also the Australian Building Codes Board responsible for energy efficiency provisions in the Building Code of Australia.
