Fall protection on a roof without adding any holes to the roof.

Описание к видео Fall protection on a roof without adding any holes to the roof.

We use this technique almost daily for safe first ascents (and final descents) as well as quick repairs without making any roof penetrations when that makes sense. Sometimes we can simply swing the bean bag over the roof. Our tie off points vary from job to job of course and we don't always add the 2nd line. It just depends on the job layout. We do always have a fall protection line in place before ever stepping off of the ground. It's just simple. You will also notice that we use sternal fall arrest rings instead of dorsal rings. This requires us to keep our ropes tight (keeping any free fall to two feet or less) in order to remain OSHA compliant.
