The Ministry of Environment will launch a campaign to distribute millions of saplings to people to plant in communities, schools and monasteries, including planting tens of thousands of palm saplings to distribute to people to plant for free.

He said that planting trees in the airport area must be studied with professional officials and with the cooperation of local authorities.
A new boulevard is under construction connecting Techo International Airport to Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd. or 60 meters of road with a length of more than 13 kilometers. This wide boulevard was built across Kandal province, crossing the Third Ring Road and National Road 2, and is currently planting some trees to create beauty and green space for people to enter and exit the airport.
With an investment of about $ 1,500 million, the new Techo International Airport has been developed as a 4F airport. In the future, the new airport will be a gateway to the open skyline of Cambodia's aviation sector by increasing the possibility of expanding direct flights to all destinations around the world.
So far, more than 75% of the construction of Techo International Airport has been completed, which is scheduled to be completed in the first phase and inaugurated in early 2025.
