STORYLINE:
Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the collapsed FTX cryptocurrency exchange, is back in court for a debate over whether his bail conditions needs to be modified to prevent him from contacting potential trial witnesses.
Federal prosecutors have said Bankman-Fried devised "a scheme and artifice to defraud" FTX's customers and investors right from FTX's inception.
They say he illegally diverted their money to cover expenses, debts and risky trades at Alameda Research, the crypto hedge fund he started in 2017, and to make lavish real estate purchases and large political donations.
