Dakshina tirupati is situated just around 15 Kms after Hosur bus stand on the way to Krishnagiri, on the right side. There is an arch at the entrance of the Road. God Sri Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Idol, inside the temple is very attractive. Most important & interesting aspect is that, as this temple is situated on a hillock, all round scenery, around this temple is really mesmerizing. Don’t miss this scenery.

Very nice place to spend a couple of hours. At the top of a hill,a very calm and quite and you would like to spend a couple of hours in peace there. Not so much visited by people and hence not very crowded, but it is just off the national highway.

There is a river which flows behind the temple. The river name is Ponnaiyar (Thenpennai). Just behind the temple below and is a delight to watch. Believed to be coming from Kasi.

8 AM to 12.30 PM
4 PM to 7.30 PM
