Rivers LG Elections: Governor Fubara Warns Troublemakers to Stay Away

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has issued a stern warning against any individuals or groups seeking to disrupt the upcoming local government elections scheduled for October 5, 2024. With a firm commitment to a stable electoral process, Fubara urged all registered voters and political leaders to be present at their polling units, reinforcing the importance of participation in shaping new political leadership across 23 local councils.
