RME Fireface 802 and Antelope Orion Studio Comparison

The point of this video is not to compare subtle sound difference "nuances", which are (with modern converters) really really subtle, and require a different type of test. This video will not help you in deciding which device has "better converters", or which device "sounds better".

It will, however, show you that one device overloads much sooner than the other (hence the rather obvious clicks and pops).

Here the issue is buffer overload, with rather extreme symptoms - clicks pops cracks, which are clearly audible even using a shitty cellphone recording.

My opinion is that Antelope has much worse (and quite bloated) software, and that this is the reason for such poor performance.
