We stayed at the Pullman hotel in Dresden, Germany for 5 nights on a semi-business trip. We chose the Superior Queen room (upper floors).

It classifies as a 4-star hotel but we feel it falls more between 3-4 star.
The stay was good overall, a welcoming and helpful reception, neat, modern looking hotel.
Pros:
Great location near Dresden Central railway station and walking distance to the Old Town, plenty of shops and restaurants around
Restaurant and bar on-site
Spa in hotel
Good views over the town, better with upper floors, big windows in room
Spacious Room, neat and minimal
They take small steps to be eco-friendly: we get a beverage coupons for refusing housekeeping (min. 3 nights)

However there were several things they could do to improve their rating:
Cons:
Pillows - The pillows were unfortunately very poor. Not fluffy, and out of shape - this bothered me the most and they need to replace it.
No kettle or coffee/tea in room - this is the first hotel of it’s kind where I didn’t find tea/coffee maker in room. They claim it’s available only for deluxe suite but this is quite a basic facility that should be available in all rooms.
There is no minibar either but just a mini fridge.
The television only shows cable tv which is quite useless if you’re not German. It’s easy to get a service like Netflix but they need to upgrade their tv sets.
The wifi network was not fast/disconnecting when working on laptop.
Toilet, wash basin, shower all separate with a transparent shower cube - I did not mind this but for non-couples stay it might be awkward.
the breakfast did not particularly have vegan alternatives but you could find the basics - soymilk, cereal, fruit, bread.

The cost of the room was around 110€/ night and the value for money was good.
