Our trip to Port Alfred was a delightful coastal adventure filled with charm and scenic beauty. As we embarked on our customary long drive through the town, it became evident that this was no ordinary destination. Although the Kowie Museum at the old Port Alfred Station was unfortunately closed, we relished the opportunity to explore the surrounding area on foot, taking in its unique ambiance. The sight of the old Municipal Market building left us in awe of its architectural splendour, with a fervent wish that it would one day be restored to its former grandeur. A drive through the marina proved to be a mesmerising experience, immersing us in the allure of the waterfront.
