A quick update about Covid-19, with reference to the UK's Governement on how they're going to tackle the current crisis and help support local business and larger organisations.

£330 billion put aside for loans, main point here is that loans will be up to £5mil and for the first 6 months it'll be interest free, after that there will be interest to pay, but we've not been told what that rate will be yet.

They will also put aside £20billion to help businesses pay for Statatory Sick Pay (SSP) in full, for every member of staff.
There will also be grants from between £10k and £25k for small businesses who have little or no business rates to pay.

There is going to also be a business rates holiday for businesses in Retail, Leisure and hospitality sectors and a grant of up to £25k for those with smaller premises with a rateable value of between £15k - £51k.

Those businesses who are eligible for the £10k - £25k grant will be contacted by their local authority (hopefully) from the beginning of April.

Mortgage holidays for those affected are expected to be for 3 mnonths, nothing yet for renters - but i will keep you posted.

If you are a business who is struggling to pay due taxes, contact 0800 0159 559 and the HMRC will help arrange some sort of money pay back, this isnt expected to afect your credit rating.

#Lloyds bank and #Natwest are releasing funds of £2billion and £5 billion respectively to help smaller businesses, how exactly this will help isn't clear just yet.
