Vetiver Grass Grows to 4 Feet In 6 Weeks!

Описание к видео Vetiver Grass Grows to 4 Feet In 6 Weeks!

An update on the vetiver grass installation that was completed 6 weeks prior to filming this video. The vetiver grass has done incredibly well, grown to 4 feet tall in 6 weeks from the last planting.

The Vetiver Grass was planted in contour bands each approximately 18" downgrade from the preceding band. The vetiver slips were planted 4-5" apart to form one interlocking subterranean biological retaining wall extending 10+ feet beneath the surface!

We'll let the grass continue to grow out and establish through fall and winter. The grass will be cut back in late winter / early spring, the clippings will be left on the hillside as mulch for California Native Wildflowers seeded in between the vetiver bands.

More updates to come as this project progresses!
