LOT Polish Airlines Trip Report flying from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Katowice on board the Boeing 787-9 dreamliner on cloudy September afrernoon.

It was a special flight for me because it is currently the largest plane I have ever flown.
As soon as I saw that 787-9 would handle this flight, I bought a ticket. Already 20 minutes after announcing this special flight, some nice seats were taken, so I had to reserve very quickly 😉 The flight was very short, we did not actually cut the cloud ceiling, and at altitude we were some 3 minutes, despite everything I am very happy and I am glad that again I had the opportunity to fly around the country by a wide-body plane.
I can't say anything about the service, because the flight was too short, but after the crew had talked to the passengers that the crew was very nice and helpful. The passengers were given the opportunity to enter the cockpit and take their pictures. It's a very cool thing. The plane was clean and modern, such comfort on such a short route is a luxury.

The only thing I could complain about is the lack of any snack, which is standard even on domestic flights. However, this is just a detail and I am very pleased and grateful to LOT for the fact that for PLN 199 (about 50 Euro) I could fly such a plane 🙂
