Merry Christmas to all! Here's another audio compilation for you: all of the sound effects from the autograph sessions from NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup through NASCAR 07.

This was a fun little mini-game. It was essentially just a bunch of quick-time events, where you would have to hit a specific button in time. I liked it the first few times, when there weren't that many autographs to sign, and you had a decent amount of time to hit each button, but after a while, they got kinda stupid. Usually, one mistake would cascade into three or four, making a simple mistake much worse than it already was. And at least on the GameCube, and definitely the PS2 versions, the button prompts tend to blend into the background, which can make it very easy to miss them.

It's not like you have too much of an incentive to not skip these, anyway. The game will tell you that skipping these autograph sessions will cause your fan-base to drop, but I've found that finishing mid-pack in even a Modified Series race is enough to offset any fans you might lose. And if you perform poorly in these sessions (which becomes a lot more likely the more fans you get), you'll probably just end up losing a bunch of fans, anyway.

A lot of these lines have some good meme potential, especially the ones where you miss an autograph. These lines always got a chuckle out of me as a kid.
