Making Japanese geta

My methods I have developed at home using basic woodworking machinery. In Japan there are few geta makers left. Most stores get their wood blanks in bulk and also the straps, Hanae from manufacturers, so they merely assemble them to a customer's requirements. I have to make every bit myself and have devised a few ways to make a reasonable accurate copy of 'the real thing'.

Yes.... I know my hands shake....... and there are parts where my hands hide the action or I do things out of shot....my movie making skills are basic....so no need to comment on those faults. I also found out that the wood I use is Pine and not Paulownia which is hard to find in Thailand.
