British warship and minehunting mothership on their way from Devonport ⚓️

Watch RFA Stirling Castle, minehunting mothership, and HMS Iron Duke, frigate, outbound from His Majesty's Naval Base Devonport.

RFA Stirling Castle (M01) is a mothership being used as a forward operating base to test autonomous mine counter-measures. An example of it's operations include deploying drones for the surveillance and protection of underwater cables and other infrastructure at sea.

HMS Iron Duke is a Duke-class/Type 23 frigate with the Royal Navy that was also outbound around the same time.
