Bluetooth module bought off Ebay from China! Install and review, how well does it work?

Do you need to get your phone connected to your old Pioneer or similar stereo like I did? I went to Ebay to find a cheap solution. What did I get for less than 20$? How did I install it? How well does it work and sound? This module connected my IPhone 8plus to my 16 year old Pioneer DEN-P80MP via ip bus cable as well as power and ground. It will play any audio from my phone, but I have yet to use it for phone calls.
