​On Thursday night, Joe Biden and Donald Trump will square off in the highly anticipated and first presidential debate of the election cycle. With 5 months to go, former President Trump holds a one point lead over President Biden according to a Real Clear Politics national average poll. While the candidates remain the same, Thursday's debate brings a lot of change for both candidates. Professor and Political Management Program Director at George Washington University, Dr. Todd Belt, joins to explain the new rules this time around and how it might impact the debate Thursday night. This debate is taking place much earlier than in the past. Dr. Belt shares what impact this will have and whether it helps a candidate over another. He tells us what he thinks will be the top agenda items during the debate and how much time he thinks will be spent on abortion and possibly IVF. Dr. Belt tells us who he thinks has the most riding on this debate.
