Today, we take you to Chitrey, located at Sandakphu tour route at an altitude of 8340 ft. Chitrey homestay is just two in number, the details of which will be provided in the next video. One can also undertake chitre trek from manebhanjan on manebhanjan tour.
We took darjeeling mail from sealdah railway station. 12343 darjeeling mail started in its exact time. We had two tickets in darjeeling mail ac 3 tier. The train journey was great, we reached NJP railway station the next day at 9:30 am. Train journey in India is always fun.
Auto from NJP railway station to Darjeeling More ₹40/-
Darjeeling more to Sukhiya Pokhri via Mirik Darjeeling in shared cab ₹250/-
Sukhia Pokhri to Manebhanjan shared cab ₹50/-
Manebhanjan to Chitrey homestay reserved cab ₹500/-. No shared cab is available from manebhanjan to Sandakphu route.
One can also go from manebhanjan to Sandakphu by land rover after 15 September.
This route is open till meghma, not beyond that at present.
