RARE Audemars Piguet Millenary automatic ref 15016ST - cal 2225 - ca 2000 - black dial - steel case

Hello and welcome! This is a pretty rare and awesome Audemars Piguet Millenary automatic ref 15016ST from ca 2000 in excellent all original condition!

The Millenary line-up was originally launched in 1995, to celebrate the upcoming new millennium. These have a unique elliptical case shape, as those are much more ergonomic and comfortable to wear. The Millenary is still being produced to this day, in several different executions.

This watch is from ca 2000. It has a gorgeous black dial, reminiscent of military watches, with big lume numerals. The superluminova lume still shines bright. The dial and hands are in superb condition, very crisp.

The steel case is in excellent condition as well, with light signs of use - mostly some light marks on the bezel, and light tool marks on the back, those can easily be polished out. The crown is original unsigned. The sapphire crystal is original as well.

The watch is a ref 15016ST, powered by a chronometer automatic AP cal 2225 from ca 2000. Service history unknown, but it works perfectly and keeps great time. It has nice wrist presence, measuring 39mm diameter without crown, and 41mm from lug to lug. It’s fairly thin too, measuring only 8,5mm thickness.
The watch comes on its original Audemars Piguet leather strap, with the original steel AP deployant clasp as well. No box or papers.

Very nice piece, great for daily use.
