Anna Vissi - Pragmata (psychowsky Remix)

Aaaah the 80s!

Here's another Greek anthem of that era... Anna Vissi (you may know her from her participation in ESC back in 2006) had already almost 10 year career in music, when she sung this love song, which actually had no beat at all - until the climax in the end that is! I have strong memories as a child from that song and the LP that it was part of, so I tried to be as tender and respectful as I could to the original.

The result is not exactly synthwave, but it certainly has strong touches of the said genre. My idea was to also have distinctive references from more "romantic" sounds of the time, such as Ryan Paris' Dolce Vita and the songs from Gazebo. I didn't want to go too far with the orchestration though. In this case less is more, since you want that vocal performance to stand out as it should.
