The Kurukh language, also known as Oraon or Kurux, holds its unique script known as the Kurukh/Banna Lipi. This script has a distinct style and is used primarily for writing Kurukh, an Austroasiatic language spoken by the Oraon or Kurukh tribe mainly in India and Nepal.

It is An Ancient, Traditional, Educational Institution of Adivasi Kurux Parha Youths. It is also an inseparable part of Kurux Social System Parha. It is an ancient education system Kurux Youth which contains separate two dormitories for both the boys’ & girls’. Many historians have been depicted this as the (Boys’-Dormitory & Girls’-Dormitory). Basically three categories of youths of students were taken admission in the dormitory they are: 1. Sanni Toor Jonkhar-Pellar (Small age students) 2. Majhila Toor Jonkhar-Pellar (Middle age students) & 3. Koha Toor Jonkhar-Pellar (Big age students).
