Once you have ordered your product we take every care to ensure that your product is packaged carefully. Because stone is heavy it is important to plan your delivery correctly. The most economical method of transport is to use a National pallet network, our pallet partner is a company called Palletways, who are one of the largest transport companies in the country undertaking this type of delivery service. They have depots situated all around the UK.

We work hard to make sure your delivery is handled smoothly. Unless you specify a next day service we use a 3-day economy service and instruct the local depot making your delivery to telephone you the day before to check it will be convenient to deliver and to make sure of any details which might be important to you.

Please bear in mind that unless you specify a small truck you will see a 17 tonne lorry of this size arriving to make your delivery, so please consider if you have any access problems including slopes, gradients or uneven ground or weight and width restrictions which might effect the arrival of your order.

The crate can weigh up to 1 tonne. After the pallet has been lowered to ground level the pallet truck has small diameter wheels so it is not possible to manoeuvre the crate unless the ground is hard and relatively smooth.
