As with any slot canyon, STAY OUT IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE OF RAIN IN THE SURROUNDING AREA! Flash flooding in this canyon is deadly. Lives have been lost here. This canyon, located in the San Rafael near Goblin Valley State Park has good easy access and is very popular. Choose your time to visit carefully, especially if you want to take pictures. You can hike in as far as you want or make a loop and come back down Bell Canyon. Summer heat in this area can be just as deadly. Take plenty of water, wear sunscreen and a hat. Stay safe out there!
